Who is costume hire available to?
Costume hire is available to professional film, television, photographic and commercial productions. This service is intended for industry use.

Do you hire to individuals or the general public?
At this stage, costume hire is offered for professional production use only. All hire requests are assessed via enquiry.

What costume categories do you offer?
We offer a curated range of contemporary uniform, occupational and character wardrobe suitable for screen use. Categories include police, firefighters, paramedics, prisoner and corrections, medical scrubs and gowns, beauty and day spa staff wear, housekeeping uniforms, school uniforms, security, stock suiting and contemporary men’s and women’s suiting, assorted religious wear and pregnancy prosthetics (progression). Availability varies by item, size and quantity.

Are hire items screen-ready?
Yes. All hire items are supplied in clean, ready-to-wear condition and maintained for professional production use, unless otherwise advised.

How long is the hire period?
Hire periods are quoted per project and confirmed based on your production dates and requirements.

Can hire items be altered?
Minor, temporary alterations may be permitted with prior approval. Permanent alterations are not allowed unless agreed in writing.

Do uniforms include logos or insignia?
Some items may include generic or removable insignia. Specific details will be confirmed during the enquiry process to ensure suitability for screen use.

Where are you based?
COSPRO is based in Melbourne, Australia. Location and freight requirements should be included in your enquiry.

Do you offer interstate hire?
Interstate hire may be available. Freight requirements, timing and costs should be discussed at the time of enquiry.

Do you offer fittings or viewings?
Fittings or viewings may be available by arrangement, depending on the item and production schedule. Please include this in your enquiry if required.

Are items available in multiple sizes or quantities?
Some items are available in multiple sizes or quantities, while others are limited. Availability will be confirmed at the time of enquiry.

Is insurance required for costume hire and who is responsible for the items?
Hired items remain the property of COSPRO and must be returned in the same condition as supplied. Productions are responsible for the care and security of items during the hire period. Insurance requirements, terms and replacement values will be confirmed at the time of booking.
